| The heat of summer is upon us, and with the warmer weather comes a greater need for water. New plants are especially vulnerable to drying out, so be sure to water your new plantings regularly. As our soil warms up, the soil will start to dry out quickly, so make sure that you have watering plans in place early so that you are ready. We always recommend a slow, deep watering in place of sprinklers or hand watering to encourage deeper rooting and better plant health. Soaker hoses and drip irrigation systems are the best way to water! |
